Our client is a leading Scandinavian property management and maintenance company. Through its services and products, it contributes to the cost-effective operation of office buildings and retail chains, while building a stable market position with its innovative solutions and professional experience. The company is committed to continuous development and high-quality customer service, and as part of this, their goal was to create a multi-tenant platform that supports the MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations), SLM (Supply Line Management) and FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industries. Our company was entrusted with the re-development and operation of their system.
The developed product itself is a system based on a closed, two-sided marketplace model, which can manage the maintenance tasks of geographically distributed store networks effectively, ensuring the availability of appropriate workforce and suppliers. The system provides fine-tuned authorization management for decision-makers in hierarchical organizations, while also providing recurring maintenance control processes in addition to one-time orders. This allows our client’s customers to effectively comply with relevant regular maintenance regulations, such as fire protection or contact protection inspections.
Our goal was to re-design the previous platform, ensuring sustainability and future scalability with modernized technology.
For our client it was essential to develop a scalable system built on micro-services, and we managed to fully meet this requirement. Cultural differences were not an obstacle, as our experiences from previous international projects helped us to develop effective cooperation.
The development resulted in a modern multi-tenant system, in which the code base of the web and two mobile platforms is common, thereby ensuring low maintenance costs and the possibility of instant updates. The platform allows stores to order professional tasks from reliable service providers quickly and efficiently, which also guarantees appropriate quality of the service provided. It offers continuous work opportunities for professionals, while retail chains can centrally manage maintenance processes, minimizing the burden of local decision-making.
