Dashboard development and challenges

In the initial phase, in addition to technical challenges of the project we also had to cope with a certain resistance, because some stakeholders feared losing their jobs due to the automation process. However, by presenting the system benefits and emphasizing that the new solution would not replace but rather support their work, we finally managed to obtain the support of all stakeholders.
On the technical side, the biggest challenge was the integration of data sources not documented by suppliers, and unstable internet connection at the site. Besides various data extractions, we ensured offline-capable data collection and data integrity. On the user side, we developed an easy-to-use interface that considers the characteristics of the local workforce, such as light contrast, or less accurate touchscreen use due to wearing gloves.

Dashboard development solution and results

The interfaces and solutions we had developed made it possible to collect and organize supplier data. Genetic and production data from the past 10 years, as well as microclimate data from hundreds of production units were integrated into a BI (Business Intelligence) central production support system. This newly created data structure makes the past data analysis and future planning more efficient for Tetrabbit Ltd. It should be specially highlighted that the delivered BI system allows qualified local users to explore additional data connections with further configuration of the existing system.
